In winter our Gardening Club planted two-tone tulips and daffodil bulbs and tucked them under the hay to keep them warm. Our year 3 &4 gardening team recently planted the onion seeds which were reproduced from last year’s crop!
In Gardening Club, we have enjoyed harvesting the organic purple cress.
The Year 1/2 Gardening Club started this term. The new team were very enthusiastic; learning about the variety of plants growing on the roof and planting purple water cress seeds!
The new Year 3/4 Gardening Club started this term and got straight to work! Learning how to use to the tools and equipment safely. Reaping the final produce from the Summer Term. Weeding, watering and planting.
The pupils in Gardening Club have been working hard maintaining the flowerbeds in the Gandhi Chaplin Memorial Garden in Canning Town.
