Museum of London

As part of our History learning we visited the Museum of London to discover more about Anglo-Saxon Britain. We learnt all about their tradition of storytelling and even listened to a ‘Shop’ (storyteller) telling us the story of the hero Beowulf.  

Yom Kippur

As part of our learning in RE we have been learning all about Yom Kippur. Yom Kippur is the holiest day of the year for Jewish people and it’s central themes are atonement and repentance. Our assembly was all about how people from the Jewish faith celebrate their special day.

Debate Week

As part of Debate Week Year 4 participated in an inter class debate. We were debating whether bullies should be expelled or if alternative consequences would be better. Both classes made some amazing points, however only one class could be crowned champions and they were 4F on the day.  

Shrek’s Adventure

Year 4 visited Shrek’s adventure in the City of London for this term’s creative writing project in English. The visit will help the children with their upcoming learning about animation and the different features involved.
