On Wednesday 24th March our young gardeners from Bee Class planted some “mini meadow” seeds! They were so excited as these seeds will grow into beautiful flowers to attract our minibeasts. These seeds were donated by a parent, so many thanks to them!
On the Roof Garden the children also explored inside the greenhouse where new seedlings were growing.
Bee class learnt a new method to sow the seeds, by using self-watering gel. We hope this experiment will give us a successful outcome!
The children walked around the roof garden and looked at beautiful spring flowers and discovered a baby snail, a wasp and a worm.
The children are keeping a gardening journal to capture memories for future pupils!
