This week Mrs Gilani has been running Science, gardening, wellbeing and sensory activities for our SEND pupils.
The learning objective was to:
– Explore different seeds by feeling them and seeing the final part of plants’ process, like sunflower seeds turn into sunflowers. After exploring and touching the sunflower seeds Mrs Gilani showed the children an artificial sunflower so they could see what the tiny seeds would turn into.
– Care for plants and learn to take turns
– Grow seeds in self-watering gel. For this they had to follow the instructions and needed to remember not to water the seeds.
