Year 2 History Workshop

The year 2 pupils were able to step back in time to the event of the Great Fire of London in 1666. Pupils experienced life as it would have been in 1666 London before, during and after the Great Fire through a combination of engaging activities and role play that immersed them in history giving them a feeling of what it was like to live in 17th century England.

 

The morning focused on ‘making and role play’ whilst the afternoon session focused on archaeological investigation; working through rubbles left by the fire.
