Our annual EYFS – Year 1 Sports Day took place at Keir Hardie Primary School on Tuesday, 27th June. Sports Day was a huge success, with students from the respected year groups participating in a variety of different sports throughout the morning. 14 ‘Sports leaders’ helped, assisted and led the activities throughout.
The sporting challenges were as follows;
- Egg and spoon
- Running race
- Space hopper
- Target throw
- Javelin throw
- Speed bounce
- Gymnastics
- Water station/ first aid
Sports day is a great way of bringing people together from all year groups; it allows students to work together in teams and build leadership skills, and helps to encourage and inspire the students to participate in sport.
Excellent demonstration of resilience, persistence and MAGIC HABITS throughout.
WELL DONE KEIR HARDIENS!
