This week a big delivery arrived at school. You know what that means… boxes! The EYFS children had a fantastic time using the boxes in their imaginative play. We sailed on boats and travelled on trains, we went on the tube and played in a dog’s kennel, we drew steering wheels and tyres and clocks and speedometers. Then when the boxes fell apart we used them to draw and to experience mark making on a bigger scale on the ground outside. Sometimes the simplest object can bring the most fun!
