A selection of KS2 pupils went to visit the Guildhall Art Gallery and Roman Amphitheatre in order to explore the paintings and learn about the origins of London. They also took part in a Drama workshop organised by the Artis Foundation. The drama session was cross-curricular with Maths and art, and the children explored ways to represent the facial expressions in the biggest painting of the art gallery plus they used their estimation skills to discuss how the giant painting was introduced in the gallery.
