Our Year 2 pupils have been learning how local wildlife habitats and ways we can help their habitats including:
- Plant Wildflowers (honeysuckle, oxeye daisy, primrose, etc.) to help pollinators.
- Create hedgehog highways (holes in fences for hedgehogs to pass through).
- Bug hotels
- Pile dead wood & leaves which can provide a safe and often warm home to all sorts of wildlife.
