As part of their science and geography topics, our Year 2 pupils visited Lambourne End. The pupils went pond dipping and mini-beast hunting to explore different minibeasts and their microhabitats. They were able to identify different microhabitats such as under logs, in soil and in the pond. The children also went for orienteering where they had the opportunity to use a map, a compass and use directional language. Year 2 also got a tour of Lambourne End’s farm animals. This included pigs, chickens, goats, sheep and more!
