There has been some fantastically fun learning taking place in Butterfly Class. – Iasmina enjoyed taking part in yoga using her gross motor skills. – Alice has been practicing her handwriting daily and learning new sounds in phonics. – Hadia, Muntasir and Samalie have demonstrated their artistic skills to create castles.
Last week, Year 6 endeavoured to complete their Explanation Text unit for English. After weeks of learning, they invented their own explanation texts. Here are a few brilliant examples from brilliant writers in 6P!
Year 4 have been reading the Take One Book story of ‘The White Fox’. They were tasked with writing the story from the Fox’s point of view. Pamela from 4D and Miriam from 4R did a really good job, using paragraphs, imagery and fronted adverbials.
