Learning objectives:
To plant seeds related to the children’s investigation questions and predict what will be the outcome of their investigation. Over time, pupils will observe the seeds and record the results.
If someone wanted to investigate a plant’s growth, they could test the type of soil, amount of water or sunlight or the type of plant, and that is exactly what year 2 did with Mrs Gilani!
Next task is for children to collect data and make observations of plants to complete their investigation.
